Oh sure, it isn't always terrible, and it might even be particularly suitable to certain games, but even at its best it creates annoying distractions in my games that I simply want to go the hell away.


I have actually never found any totally free games on my Kindle. They are always just free demos.

I'm not so sure. Facebook gaming seems to be collapsing as people get sick of running on the carefully tuned treadmills of Zynga and EA, not because Facebook decided that freemium games weren't good enough for their platform.

There will always be some "whales" out there, but I think most people take a couple bites of freemium before they decide they don't like the taste.
