Oh so MS choose to reveal the "game console" by showing TV functionality and no games? Game console reveal had always been about the gaming hardware and its capabitlity to play games! not skip over it and show rest of the stuff it can do.. and E3 is all about Games. and for DVR & stuff MS could have had a seprate event for that may be consumer electronics.. This is not the MS which launched 360.

lol definitely not the same MS that launched 360.  but i really dont see what the big deal.  ONE thing they said they would do they did.

"On Tuesday May 21st, we’ll mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment. On that day, we’ll be holding a special press event on the Xbox campus and we invite you to join us via the live global stream that will be available on Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE and broadcast on Spike TV if you are in the US or Canada.

On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games.

We are thrilled to pull back the curtain and reveal what we’ve been working on."

I know MS had already informed about what the impending announcment would be.. But thats my point what should xbox target demographic be hardcore gamers, who bought Alan wake, Halo, Crackdown, gears etc.. guys who fought with PS owners about system spec GPU and CPU Ram.. or the casual mainstream audience who would like to change the way they watch TV and interact with it? Maybe u just dont see it! it is a big deal that how MS shifted it focus to casual audience to be the priority over core gamers who made what xbox brand is today!

I have been saying this since yesterday! I am happy with the Xbox One, My issue is with MS, since the arrival of kinect MS has gone off track!
