oh they had a choice. i hope their execs knew they would get shit upon with 45 minutes of tv talk. all they had to do was make a 90 minute show with 2 - 15 minute gameplays and bam lol

Let me get this So u are saying talking about TV shows and its features for 45 min with no gameplay videos, with no info on hardware specs (cpu+gpu).. is better than a 90 minute show, where "Game" developers take the stage show off their game concept and their vision.. demonstrate the hardware capabilty and go indept about the spec...cool story bro!!
i thought we were comparing gaming console.. now it seems like PS4 is up against a DVR which can also play games.

Oh so MS choose to reveal the "game console" by showing TV functionality and no games? Game console reveal had always been about the gaming hardware and its capabitlity to play games! not skip over it and show rest of the stuff it can do.. and E3 is all about Games. and for DVR & stuff MS could have had a seprate event for that may be consumer electronics.. This is not the MS which launched 360.
