This doesn't mean the Wii U will get PS4 and Xbox One games, but it will be A LOT easier for devs to port their games. On Wii, devs had to make games from the ground up, this won't be the case for the Wii U.

No. That is not true at all. Thats just ram...but when you actually add the graphics cards that nearly doubles the distance between the two. The Ram is about 7x more powerful, but thats only the ram. You need to include the graphics card, cpu and more into the equation.

This is based on what superchunk said on this thread.
I'm not saying the Wii U will get all multiplat games (it won't). The point is that porting from the PS4 and XO will be a lot easier than it was for the Wii, making the chances of the console having multiplats a lot more common than the original Wii. This is where scalable engines do their job, the problem is that devs will need to optimize the engine for the Wii U, which some aren't doing.
