And thats not the worst part about it. For a lot of people the fact that it requires an internet check to MS servers once every 24 hours will cause problems. AND the absolute worst is you can't trade games with friends. Unless you give them your account info they won't be able to play a used game on another machine without paying a fee - which is supposedly full MSRP!! That kills used game sales and Gamefly. It was thought that this applied to other users/accounts on your console as well, but that MAY be safe. Apparently MS will offer some kind of digital trade in of your game license, but I don't expect it to be much.
I wonder how Gamestop will handle used games? They publically stated that used games will still exist. Maybe the will sell you another unlock code with the disc... Just use the disc to install the data and unlock the digital license on your acct with the new code. I wonder if you'll still have to keep the disc inside for a security check or if you could trade in back in. Then if you needed to, just re-download the digital copy of the game as long as you have the license.
Really happy PS4 isn't going this route as I rely on used game trade in's to partially fund my next game purchases.
