I watched the MS conference hoping that they would bring something to the table that would make me go 'Wow I have to get me that' but nothing at all interested me. Sure Kinect has taken a massive leap forward in terms of scope which does look interesting but they have added in a lot of negative aspects that really did not need to be there.

Not allowing users to upgrade their own HDD, focusing too much on TV integration, alienating users with pre-owned game fees (apparently full RRP) and also the issue with the semi-always online aspect which is yet to be fully clarified.

I won't hide that I am a Sony gamer but I appreciate the other consoles, even owned a 360 Elite for a period, but I was just very unimpressed and it would appear that a large portion of the gaming world felt the same! They better have a brilliant E3 lined up to follow this...
