Also, nowadays no real JRPG fan buys Final Fantasy anymore, because the series has been watered down for casuals. It was just way to easy........ That was before the celestial(?) weapons too.

More like Final Fantasy VII where it became more about FMVs than actual RPG fundamentals.

Wow... I guess I was young back then so it just "seemed" harder than what it was at the time. FFX was the last full Final Fantasy title I played.
