Seriously. I actually watched the conference at work and after it was over I immediately began to tell my friends about the new console and how it worked and they're Xbox gamers, they didn't like the design, the name, nor the graphical leap shown.

I got off work and went to the Internet and talked to my PC gamer friends, they made fun of the Xbox One and pretty much ridiculed anyone who'd support it, and were incredibly hostile towards the being online, and paying for used games fee.

Then I saw the gamer's reception, and my god it's downright terrble.

And most comment sections are people flamming the new Xbox and full of people saying it sucks and they're switching over. Like seriously, I believe Microsoft is making a huge msitake with the new Xbox, a huge one.

The name, the design, the marketing, the always online, the used games fee, it's all recieving negative reception.

I kinda feel for Xbox loyalists having to defend their console from every other kind of gamer, even the Nintendo fans are slamming on the new Xbox and people are saying the Wii U looks good in comparison. I think Microsoft needs to seriously overhaul the entire concept, keep the specs to where the current games in development would run on it smoothly, and change the design, get rid of the retarded features, and the name before it's too late.

Honestly I don't see the Xbox One doing too well outside of America, at all...and I don't even see it doing as well in America as it once did because a lot of my real life XBox gamer friends are switching over to PS4 or losing interesting in gaming in general, and most of the reception on the Internet is confirming that people overall aren't optimisitc about it disregarding it's die-hard fans.

I just don't see the Xbox One's cable box features selling at all. I mean HD recievers are pretty god damn expensive, I doubt a ton of people will spend $300 - $500 for something that'd make their TV experience better, on-top of their HD reciever. I also won't support Microsoft next gen like I did this Gen because it's so anti-consumer. The online once a day thing, the used games fee, and the freaking presentation all turned me off. I really hope Microsoft dumps some of these features and turn this ship around, like the PS4 got above average press, like some people were impressed and others downplayed people who were impressed, the reception wasn't negative at all numbers wise. With this unveiling...the reception is god awful, Microsoft is making a mistake and I hope they realize it and stop before it's too late.

Tis all.
