On the one hand I don't think MS would go it alone with the install fee. On the other hand I see EA and Acti giving exclusive content to XB1, and exclusive content will go where the money is, so either it's direct moneyhatting or Sony hasn't come to the party on used game fees. Well could be other reasons, but businesses make decisions based on what will maximise profits, and there's only profit for MS in getting FIFA content.
I object to fleecing people for offline used game play on principle, so if Sony takes this route it'll probably be either Wii U or nothing for me this generation. I have a big enough PS3 wishlist to last me until the 9th generation.
