Then there are two possibilities:
A - An insufficient amount of people buy the game, forcing EA to lower the price.
B - A sufficient amount of people buy the game and the price stays the same, meaning enough consumers are happy with EA's practices. If that's the case, who are we to say EA is wrong.
This is a good move. Publishers are going to react to the market to determine pricing, which gives more power to consumers.
