So I'm just making this thread to keep track of all the crazy things we've heard today.
1. 3GB of the RAM is reserved for the OS. I wonder how much is reserved for the kinect.
2. Used games - hasn't been completely cleared up. Either there's a fee (according to exec and ex Sony man Phil Harrison) or there's no fee, but you will sell your games through MS.
3. Controller still uses AA batteries, meaning you need to go buy your own rechargeables or dock
4. Kinect is always on (I guess you could block the eye if you want)
5. Xbox One has to connect online once per day
6. You cannot install a game without registering your game (this stems from needing to be online for used games, as the only way for the console to know if the game is used or new, is to check online).
7. 500GB Hard Drive is non-replaceable, and non-user serviceable, but you can use externals.
8. No backwards compatibility, meaning all the xbox live games from 360 will not work on One.
9. Box is ugly (objectively. No just kidding, that's my opinion). Beautiful controller makes console look even worse.
