Of course MS will be making more money now blocking used games. But I believe this attitude has more to do with developers, which for some reason feel themselves being robbed by Gamestop and alikes thus pressuring MS to implement this.
I really thought the amount of bad press this will give MS, would make them give up on this.
About Nintendo: By the way things are going with videogames right now, Maybe they don't think there will be an industry in the upcoming years,
