Between this and having to go online to activate the thing in the first place (probably not an issue with COD so much, but I'm assuming there are still some "Madden gamers" who live out in the sticks with bad/no online) it seems a good way to piss away their "sure fire" domination of the US market.

This 8th generation barely started and is already well on its way to turning into a big train wreck.
