PS4, XBOX ONE, which is the more powerful console?

equal terms as in specs. but offering an advanced next gen experince i beleive the xbox one has one upped sony with kinect 2.0 the whole immersion of movies, internet, tv and audio, that projection thing and other stuff. As a hardware peice it self i see the xbox one as being superior hardware. I wont be getting xbox one, just my opinion.

I thought you were speaking spec-wise, since the powerful term is oftenly used to raw power in consoles.  Regarding offering more advance experience, I disagree.  The PS4 also offers multitasking, the ability to watch netflix; series, movies, shows, the ability to access content with your tablet, smartphone, it also has an HD camera; but it does not replace your cable box.   I think the PS4 can be connected to the cablebox like the WiiU, but nothing has been said regarding that.     So I think that regarding the core experience they are almost the same.  But from a gamer standpoint I like the PS4 better, because it is more powerful and it is focused around games.

yea those are some good points, would have to wait for a an officail deep hardware review of the specs to confirm if one is stronger then the other or both the same. i could see it easily being one or the other or the same.
