Wait so this can mean one of two things:
-Either that Xbox One DOES require online at least for the first time you install the game. So if you don't have an internet connection, you can't start up a game, so it's not too far away from ALWAYS ON.
-Or that those watermarked rumours are somewhat true where the discs themselves are somehow marked to recognise if the game has been installed on to the hard drive and so requires a fee after the first installation. This would not require an internet connection.
I don't know which one but both sound horrible. You can't even rent or lend a game, let alone play used games. Aren't MS going to receive some serious backlash from Gamestop, who are their biggest retailers in their most sold region (America)? I don't now what they are thinking with his decision.
