Kotaku news should be taken with a grain of salt, but according to them, there's no always on connectivity required for the Xbox One, but they also speak of used games having a fee.
Maybe Xbox One Live accounts are tied to the system? So if someone doesn't have online, they still make an offline user name and the game is tied to the system. If they never get online, then the disc doesn't get activated with Xbox One's live servers, so the game even though used if they sell it is still a new game according to Xbox One's database.'
I don't know if that's how it works, but that's how I'd assume it would work until it's confirmed by Microsoft.
Anyways. I own a PC for all my games locked to DRM so no Xbox One for me. I'll be PS4, Wii U, PC exclusive person the eight gen.
Is this somewhat of a confirmation that PS4 is in first place the eight gen? Wii U maybe second place?
