As a die hard Fable fan, the only thing I would highlight bad from Fable 2 is the difficulty (way too easy) and the story (way too simple and straightforward). I don't see how he "regretted" playing it, as it is an enjoyable adventure if you liked the first one. Not even nostalgia can't hamper your fun in Fable 2.
Perhaps he wanted the growing tree, though. But I doubt that's deal-breaking xD

I gotta agree that the difficulty in F2 was way too easy (but that's not to say F1 was hard), and that the story wasn't all that great. I really did enjoy the villain in F1 more! Overall, it's a good series that has untapped potential! I'm looking forward to the next installment! This series can be so much better than it is (not saying it is bad though)!

Yes. I love the series, but saddly they've been getting worse lately. Some cool ideas only serve to taint the fun (And that's pretty odd) and it has got soooo streamlined that it is not funny anymore.
I just wish for a great Fable 4. People can say whatever they want, but it wasn't Peter who screwed this saga, but Microsoft with their release dates.

Oh, I really have to agree that it's gotten way too streamlined! I think having that golden trail in F2 was bad enough (I simply quit trying to find my own way and only followed that trail), but it kinda feels like you're walking through a corridor at times... Especially in F1 and F3. F2 had a nice open world that was fun to explore once you ignored that trail.
I also hope they making a great F4! Taking the best from the previous games, and fulfill the promise the series is.
