To give credit where credit's due, Phil was the head of Sony Europe and oversaw the success of Singstar and the Eyetoy. Although he may not have been the creative mind behind these titles, he did approve and promote these social games. If Harrison had his way, would he have come up with the Wii? I doubt it, and I hope he doubts it as well. I think everybody knows he's no Miyamoto. But he probably did have some vision of a more social gaming experience.

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
