well its simple, the games that are coming out. the ones directed at the "core" simply do not use motion controls almost all the times. im not downplaying the Wii or suggesting ALL those who play it are "casuals" or that nintendo fans are casuals. but its well known why the Wii was a success, because it attracted new consumers and people who didnt play video games before like soccer moms, grandparents and so on.
what makes me think they havent? well im looking at the PS3 and 360. you dont see people going on and on about the kinect or move and how they want naughty dog or the Epic games making motion control games. the type of games coming out for them also suggest that MS and sony know this.
