Was Microsoft Forced to show next Xbox early by Sony? What to expect on May 21st from Microsoft?

Presumed for sure and you dont put out such a count down unless you have somthing big to announce. E3 occurs every year and Microsoft never puts out a count down for E3 event. This year is different because next generation is coming out, and such a countdown would be sure related to a big announcment. Common sense to me.
