Generally EU prices include the VAT which is roughly 15% from my experience while US does not which is roughly 6%. So, you are looking at 50 euros in taxes built in roughly and 24 dollars in taxes not built in to price.
Anyways, $400 is my sweet spot, if only to know the HDD (250GB?) and how far that will get you this next generation.
