Last year it outsold Wii's software by ~62m

Wii's software is dropping relatively faster. I see it dropping 40-50% this year while 360 software drops 20-30%. So let's say 40m Wii software and 100m 360 software sold this year. That's a difference of 60m or another 43m gone from now to the end of the year, so 43m remain.

Wii software will drop to about 10-15m next year while 360 software should drop to ~65m I think. That's a difference of 50-55m which means 360 is suddenly 7-12m ahead.

Even if 360 suffers bigger drops than I've estimated here, it will surely happen in 2015.


Well at that rate the PS3 will pass it too eventually assuming both the X360 and PS3 still sells a lot of software once next-gen comes.
