maybe my english is too bad to understand the whole plot but

why the hell should destructoid have the right to forbid its employee to talk about this,or have the right to fire him.

He was told something(though he may has not have asked her/im)
he even calmed this person not to commit suicide
since that moment this person(chloe) posted in a forum to commit suicide almost everything was public and as he seems to look very much like a man though pretending to be a woman his transgender orientation was also obvious.
If chloe was really busy to keep things secret he would not post suicide attempts in forums.

chloes problem is not pinsoff comment.
seems he is always searching for a reason for suicide-but he does not wish to die.If he was really trying to die he would not talk to pinsof about suicide nor post such things in forums.He is looking for attention and help.
chloes problem is not pinsoff,nor the wish to die but the money for the surgery to change his gender into her.

i suggest:
pinsoff should keep his job instead of being Adam Orthed but donate 2000 dollars(because he broke his promis to keep quiet,though it is hard to keep a secret that is not a secret)
Destructoid to do the same-as they pretend to be interessted in chloes health(that's why i think your last question(destructoid/heat) is close to the truth.
each of the shitstorm boys/girls-ladyboys shall donate 10 dollars if they really support chloe until 31000dollars are reached and the surgery can be done.
