PS3 has just had or is just about to pass in two weeks time X360's lifetime sales, which is Microsoft best try in the gaming arena and is still poised to end in third place.
Sony has restructured, reorganized, refocused and is more committed than ever to gaming, after starting as horribly as could be imagined and will still end in second place (first if we take into account the best predictions due to ongoing Other sales into the future), where other consoles with the same starting points (mostly bad launch games, overpriced launch, difficult to program for) failed miserably and drove their owners out of business.
Yet some people think that the next Xbox is somehow handily going to kick PS4's butt. Even with the small amount of information that we have right now about the next-gen, the mind boggles at the lack of common sense when faced with the current reality.
