Yea, when I was arguing what that friend of mine I just asked him "So what makes it gay?" and he could never answer. Eventually he would respond with "Nothing but it's just a saying" and make it out like I was the bad guy in all this for being so over-defensive of gays (this was when I still identified as hetero and was only just starting to consider myself as homo).
