I think u are right about ur analyse but just a point.
This increase in percentage should be use in the context of others parameters like :
total numbers of games released for each system
that will give us
total numbers of single player games released
and
total numbers of multiplayer games released
then we could ask ourselves :
Are there less single player games released NOW than in the PAST ?
or are there more multiplayer games released NOW than in the past ?
(I still agree that the part/importance of multiplayer games has largely increased over the years, but I assume the numbers of single player games has increased too but not as quickly as the numbers of multiplayer games)
