From a Business Standpoint, How long should Nintendo and Sony continue on with their Struggling Systems if they continue to do the same?

That could be so, Although I expect them to keep it going for five years at least, like any other system.

I think they will release a console/handheld hybrid "3rd pillar" in holiday 2016 when 3DS and Wii U have 1-2 decent years left.
