Wait......it took you 8 hours to complete the game.....is that a typo? Well, I disagree about the story. Gameplay is pretty simplistic, but the creation of items is where the true value of the game lies. Totori and Meruru are vastly superior games in my opinion though.
Edit: It was easily a 20-30 hour game for me....maybe longer.
