It is indeed an episodic game, so I assume it'll be a digital release.
And I agree with you. I was probably being a little harsh on it since I was in a rush making that post. I'm sure the pieces are there to make quite a fun game; just the production values in that trailer were early PS2-level, which is a bit less than what I'd expect.
I won't rule it out based on that alone, of course!
