Lastly you guys are really over estimating GT's system selling power. GT has different customers than your usual customers that buys game all the time. GT's fans are mostly Racer and causal fans. GT will benefit more with a higher install base. PS3 is a logical choice ATM but releasing it for the PS4 exclusively at launch is really a bad idea. IMO

the answer is simple:REALISM.

making a gt game is very expensive and takes lots of time.A different GT will be more expensive than a ps2 GT and it may take half the time of gt5 to be coded-this game wouldnt be released before 2015.

a port need 6 month and should cost 5-10% of the original budget.

and you can have crossplay/crosssave etc.and it is a good thing having the possibility to play huge games on different platforms(eypecially those 24hours race events.

But you don't need a port  for cross play.

That's why I would rahter have GT Vita exclusive that will utilize the vita full functionality. Rear pad, touch screen, Gyro and Near.
