Exactly and every generation has some intangible that causes stand out characters. His point for Nathan Drake is that he set the standard for how Character driven action/adventure titles are made hence why so many devs are creating their games off of the Uncharted model. |
It's a character that fits in the world of uncharted. That is good storytelling and voice acting. It isn't really influential. The game it's self was influential but characters will always be different in every game. You cant make a character exactly the same. It is a vision.
You know what, just to make my point who has these characters influenced? Nobody is like Nathan Drake. Don't say the new Lara Croft either. Games are similar but entirely different characters.
Nobody is similar to Ezio, GlaDos, Marcus Fenix, Shephard, etc They are all there own character because of the vision that the team had as well as the actors. If they influenced another character then how? A character is more than how they move or look, but the personality as well.
