They counted 'Mario' and 'Mario Kart' seperately, for some reason. I take it the Mario entry includes NSMB, 3D Mario and Mario Party. But I agree, either split the franchise up into all of it's different series, or really count it as one. I don't know if Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is included with 'Mario' or with 'Sonic' though. I'm guessing the latter since that would explain how Sonic even makes the top 20. |
No, they didn't. As far as we know, they include every single game with Mario in its title. If you look at VgChartz data, it doesn't matter whether they included Mario Kart or not, COD would still outsell it.
