I take it you never read his clarification on the "laugh"?

He wasn't laughing at the thought of putting UE4 on Wii U, he was laughing at the notion that the reporter only asked about Wii U and didn't ask about any other console.  He found it amusing the guy didn't ask about the PS3 or X360.
