Yeah, that's kinda the thing. My problem was the "twists" at the end are thrown at you so fast that the meaning can get lost. Esqouret is completely right that the various things in the game help explain everything in better details, but if you get lost by what the main story is trying to tell you, the other details aren't going always going to fill the gap.
