I don't care about what other people like or not... as long as the artists i like have enough success to make a living, and continue to record good music, it's not important if they sell thousands or millions of records... at least not for me... for them, that's another story... but hey, success sometimes "corrupts" people too, and they become less and less creative with it, so...

It's a little bit different in the videogame industry, though, as the console of your choice has to be very successfull if you want to see many good games released on it... if there was a single, universal console, then i'd care only about the games, not the hardware companies... and i'd like some mainstream games and some niche games just the same, as long as i find they are great...
