I've been Googling around, and it seems that there still hasn't been any major breakthrough in compromising the system, outside of running PSP titles? Is this correct?

I had the penchant for spending some money the other day, and it turned out neither the PSV or 3DS were opened up. Money is still sitting in my wallet.

EDIT: To clear up any confusion as to my motives, a post I made below:

All sorts of reasons. I've got a couple of projects I'm working on, that would be pretty cool to get running on these environments (including a JS game engine with a drag-and-drop game editor). Also, emulation, that sort of thing.

I bought a PSP and several games, but they were never worth the money, so it became a paperweight until I started running emulators on it.

Also, not going to lie, I would consider downloading PSV games. But considering the cost of memory cards, it'd probably work out just as cost-efficient to buy second hand games.
