The console wasn't the only thing that sturdy either. I'm usually a very calm gamer, but I remember one time when I was trying to beat the first level of Halo 2 on legendary (which for some reason was the most painfully difficult experience of the game) and after dying like 30 times in a row I lashed out with my arm and the controller slipped out of my hand. It crashed right into the wall on my right, and actually made a dent in the wall too. Amazingly, the controller didn't have a scratch on it, and worked perfectly fine.

True, I am usually a calm gamer, but occasionally stuff falls over when gaming, and then after cleaning and restarting the gaming session sometimes it falls over again, I sometimes then go into a bit of a rage attack. Thrashed 1 or 2 controllers, Xbox one was like a brick though.
