Something I've been trying to figure out is why Nintendo fans aren't mad at Nintendo. Seems to me that they were trying to convince people that the Wii U was going to get all the multi-player games when they didn't have many agreements in place. They mislead people by having guys like Ken Levine appear in a video (and WTF, people blame Levine for that?) which they showed on stage. They allowed EA to walk away after they seemingly had something worked out. They pissed off Ubisoft. They pissed off Amazon big-time.

And yet all I hear is that Nintendo is a victim. Seriously? I'm not saying they should get all the blame but clearly they deserve some of it. A lot of these things are directly related to choices Nintendo made. In business, it's YOUR responsibility to make sure other businesses want to partner with you, not the other way around.

Edit: phooey, i let myself get sucked in again. I'll leave it that my opinion of Ken Levine is very low, and has been for some time.

Stop responding to the ones you know will be Nintendo negative no mutter what. (you should have some idea atleast)

I agree with this.  Nintendo has always done no wrong.  They don't make mistakes because fans can't think of them ever doing anything wrong.

I encourage you to read more of what Nintendo fans around here post. While we are largely united in our condemnation of third parties, we are by no means just cheerleaders of Nintendo (i, for one, am bothered that it took them 7 years to get around to putting Earthbound on the non-Japan virtual consoles. How mysterious that the legal issues disappear when they have a struggling console...) While you'll find criticism of all kinds of games, the Wii U hardware (i'm actually in the minority of Nintendo fans on this site who thinks the gamepad was a good idea) or other missteps (like their very poorly-coded operating system for the Wii U)

Yes the Wii U OS is a disaster even the Wii was leagues better, How they stopped supporting the Wii and just left it to die, no real push when the Wii U launcehed, No advertisement and support after the launch, delayed the launch games .............

There are lots of things to complain about Nintendo but not the thirdparty debacle and EA bullshit.

The only thing about 3rd parties you can blame Nintendo is their behaviour in the 80´s and start of the 90´s.
