Nintendo fans shouldn't have expected to get the Mass Effect Trilogy, though it's clear why they do. The reason behind the PS3 getting the Mass Effect Trilogy is when EA first brought the series to the system, the second game sold well. The third game released and on the PS3 it also sold well. So they have a huge fanbase on one console that hasn't played the first one, so it's obvious why they ported it.

Because they ported the original over to the PS3, Nintendo fans expect them to do the same on the Wii U? Mass Effect 3 only sold 50,000. If it sold half a million or a million then you might have seen a port, but be realistic.

Assassin's Creed 3 is at the very end of the storyline and you really have no real idea of the story other than templars versus assassins. No complaints of the remainder of that series. The only reason the complaints are being thrown at EA is because it's another convenient excuse to use to hate on the publisher, and by convenient, I mean baseless.

EA is also not the only one pulling game support from the Wii U. NBA 2K was mentioned in this thread so I'll point out 2K Sports. MLB 2K13 was released in March of this year and didn't make an appearance on the Wii U. NBA 2K13 only sold 10,000 so that could very well be the reason. Tecmo Koei hasn't announced anything Wii U, but has been announcing and releasing PS360 and Vita titles. Square Enix has been announcing titles for everything but the Wii U, Namco Bandai is working on Super Smash Bros Universe but no games of their own.  4A's cancellation of Metro Last Light.  While retailers have posted it, Activision only mentioned the PS360 and PC when announcing Call of Duty Ghosts.

So yeah. Not just EA. Just about every publisher that has developed for the Wii U but has got poor sales has been avoiding the console. EA has supported the console more than any publisher and has continued to support it when the others have dropped out long ago. Now EA isn't supporting Wii U either until console sales pick up and people use it as another excuse to hate on EA. Atleast Nintendo has Ubisoft. They're still supporting the Wii U.
