It's simple : it's out of the question that I have two consoles in my room.
When Sony cut the BC on the PS3 for PS2 well I though "screw them, I'm going to pirate and emulate it on my PC".
If they release the PS4 without BC, then I'm simply keeping the PS3 until I can emulate it and make room for lower priced PS4.
