If you follow PC sales, you know Indie and Casual games sell a much larger percentage of their profits over time.

So to get the non-blockbuster games you need to pay a bit more, then you would for a game that's getting a sequel anyway... and could use the free advertising and who's sales dry up faster. (Partially because they're initial sales are sky high in the first place.)
