Half-Life 2 adds official Oculus Rift support

I have yet to play the Half-Life series.  Everybody really hypes them up but how do they stand compared to games of today?  

Um, well the story is good and the graphics are pretty good considering it came out so long ago. 

I've played the first Portal but I thought it was too hard. Like it started off really easy but the last levels just gave me a headache.
