You're taking too much personal the opinions of others about your work.. as much as others take too much personal the opinions on a review..
That's why I prefer informative reviews or just plain previews... to get informed about a game before trying a demo or watching some gameplay videos...
And actually i clap your decision of not doing the review of Soul Sacrifice If you didn't engaged with the game enough to continue playing it.. That's a more professional decision than giving a opinion on a game based in just some few ours and info about others modes that got from the net (I'm looking at you, SS's IGN REVIEW ¬¬), but i on't complain about the score. Score is very subjetive thing and depends on everyone...
By example, i know every flaws that FFXIII have.. but I still enjoyed the game.. was kinda just fun the battle system, and liked the story and characters... not my favorite RPG ever, but didn't regret playing it... And games beat'em up like Zone of the enders are my favorite together with Fighting games... So that's probably Why i like a lot Soul Sacrifice.. is kinda like a MonHun meet Beat'em up adding some great personalization mechanics and with a dark setting...
