For this type of game, 30fps (smooth - remember) should suffice.

I'm pretty sure inFamous 1 and 2 ran at 30 FPS and I've platinumed both those games. Never really had an issue with frame rate. It all looked fine to me.

well, i thought it's like with racing or sports games which can profit a lot from higher frame rates but like i said, i have no clue about infamous. just read that the ps3 games had 30fps but people say "it felt like 60fps from time to time". maybe it's the smoothy thing

Yeah I personally never had a problem with the FPS in the inFamous games. Maybe it was 30 but it felt extremely smooth to me even when there was a lot going on (explosions etc).
