Depends of the region and the job.
For example in Southeast (where are Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, etc) the average is even bigger for IT jobs... in fact a trainee have a salary close to R$1000,00 (US$500).
I have a good salary for my job (not great) and receive three to four times the 700EUR but there are guys that do the same job and receive over 4000EUR (> R$10,000)
I'm studing now to try to passa in a test for a job that pay close to R$15,000 (US$7500)... so if everything happened like I hope then I will receive a AMAZING salary here.
It is not too hard to gain money if you have study in my area (IT - Information Technology) but others areas have more trouble like Education pays so little here and that is a bad thing.
