Too Small, Analog Sticks too close together, Triggers..etc..etc.
DS4 is a completely different controller from the DS3. It's the first major revision to Dualshock. since the addiction of analog sticks.

Not at all. That's more of an issue with dirty gamers than bad controller designs.
