1. Just click X to force the talking to progress. I don't know why the Narrator takes so many long pauses either, but its not that big of a deal.

2. You get an assortment of Homing Long Ranged Projectiles later on. The Spinning Axe things are my go to for targeting vertical weak points. You will find when you don't have ranged, the fights are doable, but it will always be far easier if you can get those weak points. Its really your fault for not planning ahead :P (in the real game that is)

3. You do know there is a dodge right?....... I think you are just doing it wrong. Lock onto Archfiends pretty much at all times. You always want them in your line of sight, otherwise they sneak and pounce right on you. Most Archfiend attacks can be dodged if timed well. The hardest to evade so far for me is Wyvern who is a fucking Bruce Lee with Wings.

4. It kinda sounds to me you never really wanted to enjoy the game, at least subconciously. Or maybe you are not into something as Hardcore as SS. Your complaints sound of someone who isn't really trying to understand something, but trying to get it over with as soon as possible so they can say they did it. Reminds me of trying to introduce an JRPG to my Dude Bro roommate who becomes super dismissive to just about everything in it.

bolded.....carry on.

1. It is, I dislike having to mash buttons just to make the text advance faster. Which is why in all RPGs that have an option for fast text, I chose that option.

2. I manage to get an assortment of spells, and I leveled up that neutral blade thingy to lvl 3, which is the max allowable on the demo. Even at that lvl of upgrade, it does squate to the harpy's wings and head. Its not the planning which is the problem, its the fact that they tried to make the game harder artifically by forcing you to run out of spells during huge boss battles and forcing you to run around looking for or waiting for restore points to respawn or for some small fry monster to pop up. That is not my idea of fun.

Not to mention it doesnt feel like the spells are doing anything. Case in point, I also manged to level up that jack o lanter spell thingy where you turn into a huge flaming boalder, which incidentally is the harpy's weakness. Every time I roll into the damn bird, it feals like its not hitting or doing anything even though I get points for "enemy weakness exploitation" and shit.

3. Oh, I can dodge all right, I even spent half an hour running around and avoiding cereberus waiting for small fry monsters and the resources thingy to respawn just to get more mana. Its lame stupid and lame to run out of offensive abilities at the onset of the battle coz the spells are severly limited and the stupid dog has a shit amount of hp. If my character had a stupid stick that can do 10 damage, I would have already killed that stupid dog in 30 mins. Instead, like I said, I forced to run around with nothing to attack with. LAME!

4. Oh, 10 hours + spent on a demo doesnt sound like "trying to get it over quikly" to me. I really tried to get into SS, but only ended up disliking it more. As for hardcore, SS is not "hardcore". It is a game that is artificially difficult due to the system making you suck. If I was given just a bone arm for the rest of the game but had unlimitted use of it, I'm 100% possitive that I would beat it due to the enemy paterns being so easily recognizable. Am I the only one who sees this? Its like playing an arcade version of street fighter 2 the world warriors and all the punch and kick buttons are broken.
