they certainly havent, but its not like they gave vita their A effort or even B effort either. and thats the thing, they wanted to cash in but they failed miserably (with nintendo consoles) from a money stand point that makes sense not to continue that effort. im honestly not attacking nintendo or WiiU, im simply saying that they can make much more money else where and that is what they are doing.
if i ONLY had a WiiU? i certainly would have bought NFSU as not only the game deserves to be bought but the fact that its the best console version makes it a must buy. and i would have bought fifa because i always play with my brothers that, so being a bit port or what ever wouldnt have mattered. im not interested in mass effect so i wouldnt have bought it, maybe i would have if i was interested in the series. and you are not being difficult dont worry about it

i see where you are coming from but IMHO there are more factors at play. NFS was a late as port even later than the Vita version, later ports rarely do even as good as the first release no matter how much better it is(cant see why some people want to ram that point home) Plus Europe just seems to be Sony land moreso than ninty, the love racing and Fifa so it makes sense to me that Sony platforms even Vita would do better in that area. I dont know what the hell is going on with Madden. I really dont, people want to say that it only "won" cause it is bundled with Vita but thats BS cause thats only in one region and its not like the game did that good either certaintly not AC3:L or COD BOD numbers, ill just chalk it up to football games not being that popular on the system yet.
Thats what i thought, i just find it weird how some people get so upset. Why should it matter if its a late port or not, if thats your only option anyway? Its not like it would make a diffrerence unless they had the system that originally had it, and if they did and choose not to buy it then thats on them. I bought ME2 for my PS3 no problem, never once did i think "i wont buy that because 360 owners had it for a year and its cheaper" If i dont have a 360 it doesnt help me cause i couldnt buy the damn game anyway. strange.

but even for a late port is performed horribly, the best example i can think of is Mass Effect 2. the game released on the ps3 an entire year later, everybody thought the game was going to stay an exclusive for the 360 just like the first one, meaning its entire fanbase was on the 360, but it still managed to sell 1.24 million units. a year later, when everybody thought the game was going to be just on the 360 when it launched, and it launched without the first game on the console and the game is VERY stroy driven. yet we look at the NFS numbers and it sold 20K. the vita version outsold it by over 15 to 1. there is no denying that the numbers are horrible, so why even bother?
the fact that its a late port shouldnt really matter, because it would only really effect the sales if the consoles owners of the WiiU have another system to buy it on, and thats the thing, if they have other consoles just make the games on those consoles which rank in much, much more money in the first place and not waste money on a port.
also who ever says they dont want to buy a game because it looks slightly worse then the 360 version is full of bullshit, they are just saying those stuff to attack EA, which seems like the cool thing to do lately

Oh dont misunderstand me, i know its doing bad. But as someone said before the PS360 fanbase is very similar in taste, so what tends to do good on one will do about the same on the other. The fact that a late port could do that well, proves it. But with the WIi and now WIi U i guess, kinda a different story. Also i think NFS is not that big on Ninty consoles at least nowhere near as big as ps3 or 360 just trying to shed more light, no denial here.
