Gee, who'd have thought that PS Vita game sales would be higher, when SO MANY games were released by EA for the 3DS and Wii?
(Note: their last DS release was in 2009. Fifa 13 released for the PSP in 2012)
I always find it hilarious when people try to go "see? the company made more money on <system>, therefore they should put more games on <system> than on <Nintendo system>"... and then, when you look at number of games released, you discover that the system got far more games. Many times, the average revenue per game is lower on the other platform, but that gets ignored, because it doesn't fit the narrative.
Total revenue on PSP/PSV: $20 million
Total revenue on Wii/DS/3DS: $14 million
Average revenue relative to titles sold within the entire year for PSP/PSV: $4 million/release
Average revenue relative to titles sold within the entire year for 3DS/DS/Wii: $4.33 million/release
But hey, clearly EA is "right" for not supporting Nintendo consoles, right? They really should put more effort into the Vita, where there's clearly much more untapped potential</sarcasm>
