I agree with him in the second half of his statement, but what is up with the first half? There are plenty of relatively young Star Wars nerds, did Pachter miss Episode I, II and III? Contrary to popular opinion on the internet these movies were generally well-liked and a huge financial success. Also, the Star Wars nerds introduced their sons into the series.
